Whether you prefer to call it “ancestral method,” “pétillant naturel,” or simply “pet nat”, this is an ancient form of sparkling wine that’s made by bottling bubbly before it finishes fermenting and letting that process continue in the bottle.
Amorro Blanco Espumoso is a sparkling wine made with 100% Palomino grapes using ancestral methods which give the wine a natural sparkling quality.
The grapes were harvested from two different vineyards in Chiclana – Pago el Marquesado - with sandy soil and the other is albariza soil.
The wine is bottled before the first fermentation is finished and the carbon dioxide, which is given off as the yeast convert the sugars into alcohol, is trapped in the bottle which gives it that beautifully natural sparkling texture.
