DUXBURY CIDER, HERITAGE

Heritage 1650 honours the first North American cider by including many of the very apple varieties passed down from that inaugural batch, crafted in New England more than 365 years ago.

This truly dry cider is a tart champagne-style cider that is reminiscent of the Norman ciders with its higher acidity and tannic character. Maintaining an intense green apple fruit flavour, it is crisp and clean. This cider pairs well with smoked fare such as, lamb, pork, and BBQ meats or try it with more intense cheeses such as blues, smoked or aged unpasteurized cow’s milk cheeses.
