The Daily Dumpling Wonton Co. is a high-end dumpling company that specializes in fresh and frozen handmade Shanghainese wontons. Their mission is to bring this classic Shanghai comfort food to Toronto. They source the best local and imported ingredients to serve up authentic Shanghainese cuisine following traditional family recipes. In Shanghai people eat wontons daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner and midnight snacks - and you should too!

Ingredients: Pork, Shrimp, Shiitake, Ginger, Green Onion, Salt, Sugar, White Pepper, Soy Sauce, Oyster Sauce, Sesame Oil, Wrapper(Wheat, Water)

 

Cooking Instructions: 

BOIL FOR 5 MINUTES: Prepare a pot of boiling water.  Put frozen wontons into the pot and boil for 5 minutes or until cooked

STEAM FOR 10 MINUTES: Bring a steamer to a boil.  Put frozen wontons into the steamer and steam for 10 minutes or until cooked.

EAT WITH SAUCE OR SOUP: Eat your wontons with your signature Shanghai peanut sauce, ginger soy sauce or chili oil, or have them in miso soup, chicken stock or your favorite soup!

KEEP FROZEN, DO NOT THAW: Frozen wontons are uncooked.  Cook wontons thoroughly, do not consume raw.  Cook to a minimum internal temperature of 74 degrees Celsius.  Cooking times may vary depending on your appliances.
