François Morissette is making wine in Niagara for those who appreciate his approach of minimal-intervention, purity, and low sulphur. He is classically trained, having worked and studied in Burgundy, France with some of the masters of the craft. He attempts to uncover the inherent nature of each and every vintage.
TASTING NOTES
Pronounced spice and dark fruit aromas. The palate is meaty, but firm; full of energy, yet it brims with dark red fruit you can bite into and remains positively vibrant. The density of flavours permeates the mouth with a spicy and brought finish.
METHOD
A blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot; this is Pearl Morisette’s first Meritage blend.
