DESCRIPTION:
Sour ale aged on oak staves w/ Sauvignon Blanc grapes & Nelson Sauvin • 6% ABV
We made this with Sauv Blanc juice in the whirlpool and sourced the juice from our neighbours on Geary, Macedo Winery. We splashed some Nelson Sauvin in the dry hop, as well as aged this in stainless with staves from our barrel program. This recipe was the first sour beer we made and it hasn't stayed in our regular line up, so we are showcasing this brand and putting a twist on it by adding the oak in the fermentor for an extra layer of complexity.
Notes: white grapes aged on oak staves, dryhopped with Simcoe and Nelson Sauvin, nicely tart, very fruity like fuzzy peaches.
